What is Life School?
Life School, put on by Lovin Life in Santa Cruz, CA, is an 8-week intensive discipleship program designed for high school graduates aimed at equipping students to live in the fullness of life Jesus promises. Inspired by the military's ability to transform civilians into soldiers, Life School aims to mold students into ambassadors of Christ. Our mission is to raise up missionaries in every vocation and send them out into the world to share Christ’s life. Through biblical Christ centered teaching, missional Christ led community, and evangelistic Christ empowered outreach, with a focus on practical application, graduates are equipped to not only survive college, but to thrive as representatives of the fullness of life found in Jesus on their campus, and into their future careers.

On top of a comprehensive reading plan that will bring you through the entire New Testament. Life School has a multitude of speakers communicating biblical teaching on; Sharing The Gospel, Silence and Solitude, The Priesthood and our role as priests now, The Church of Christ, Biblical Finances, The Word and the World, Discipleship, Mission, and much more!

Community is an integral part of Life School, you will spend every day in direct community with students and staff all with the same mission : To KNOW Jesus and to MAKE HIM KNOWN.

Life School is filled with adventure. From hikes through the Redwoods, camping near the majestic cliffs of Big Sur, exploring Yosemite National Park, and getting out of your comfort zone by engaging in conversations in downtown San Francisco.

We don’t just teach you the content at Life School. We WALK with you! As a student you will have the opportunity to use your God given gifts to serve. You will learn how to be intentional in developing and exercising Habits of Grace such as Prayer, Community, Fasting, Solitude, Serventidue, and much more!

We believe…
God is the triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Lord Jesus Christ is God’s Son being one with the Father. All things are created by Him and for Him.
Through the action of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, He became man.
Jesus was without sin and of His free will, and by His sacrificial death upon the Cross, He brought about salvation for this fallen world.
He is the only mediator between God and man, and by accepting His salvation through faith, man is justified from his sins and receives forgiveness and eternal life.
Jesus Christ is risen bodily from the dead.
Jesus Christ will return to deliver just judgment and to bring all things to completion.
The Holy Spirit is God in unity with the Father and the Son.
Through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ comes to dwell within those who accept Him through faith. Through the presence of the Holy Spirit, a person becomes a new creature and is being transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ adds those who believe in Him to his Body. This is His church on earth, of which He is the Head.

The total cost for Life School 2025 is $4500.00 USD.
Program Fees include registration, classes, room and board, books, internet access, outdoor activities, and adventure trips.
Prices exclude laundry, and surfing equipment. (We have a few surf boards and wetsuits however if you planning on surfing and or swimming in the ocean regularly we highly recommend you purchasing a wetsuit.)

Life School goes from;
June 11th - August 9th 2025 -
Three meals a day is included with tuition. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are available for the full length of the program. Students typically enjoy a continental breakfast, a home-cooked family style lunch and dinner alongside staff and resident family members. Flavours and styles of food vary often and our kitchen staff works hard to provide high-quality meals.
Students will pack a bagged lunch if they are going to be offsite for a meal.

An additional fee is required for students requiring a special diet (gluten/dairy free etc.)
